We are ALWAYS looking for new members. If you are interested in joining the department as an EMT, Firefighter, or both, please stop in at the Village Office and ask the Clerk (Judy Beranek - who by the way is a member of the FD) for an application. The Village Office is located at 130 N. Harrison St. (across the street from the Post Office). Or if you wish you can fill one out online via the Application Page.

On a similar note, the North Prairie Fire Department Auxiliary is also in need of new members. These great gals are known throughout the county (and beyond) for the meals they provide at fire scenes, meetings, and extended trainings. They have also been ardent fund raisers and have provided our department with many contributions over the years that have made a true impact on our service to the community. So, if you would like to contribute to the community but are not up to being an EMT or Firefighter, please consider the Auxiliary.  If you are interested, please see Auxiliary on the Contacts page for phone numbers and or e-mail.
